Il magazine statunitense Consequence ha lanciato la sua “Live Music Week”, dedicata alla musica dal vivo. E come prima mossa, ha compilato la sua “lista definitiva dei 100 migliori tour di tutti i tempi” aggiornando la classifica pubblicata originariamente nel 2019. “Certo, è un’impresa quasi impossibile – riconosce la redazione di Consequence nell’introduzione – Esiste una quantità letteralmente incalcolabile di tour intrapresi dagli artisti solo nell’ultimo anno, figuriamoci nell’intera storia della musica popolare. Alcune delle più grandi tournée di sempre si saranno probabilmente svolte in scantinati e bar, con artisti mai usciti dalle scene locali ma capaci di suonare davanti a pubblici piccoli e coinvolti. Poi c’è il rapporto profondamente personale che ogni fan ha con la musica dal vivo. Quello che cerchiamo nei concerti cambia, il modo in cui ci sentiamo nei diversi spazi cambia, e cambia perfino quali tour abbiamo potuto vivere in base alla nostra età. Ogni redattore di Consequence ha una propria lista e senza dubbio ce l’ha anche ogni lettore… Abbiamo considerato fattori come la forza delle scalette, la qualità delle performance, l’impatto culturale e altro ancora. Soprattutto, però, abbiamo cercato tour capaci di riportare alla mente grandi ricordi o di suscitare un’invidia feroce. Per quanto diverse possano essere le nostre liste individuali, possiamo concordare sul fatto che ognuno di questi 100 tour spacca di brutto”, conclude Consequence.
