Resident Evil Code Veronica Remake sarà annunciato nel 2026, Dusk Golem ne é sicuro
Il recente post di Eva La Dare, la doppiatrice di Sheva Alomar, ha fatto lievitare le quotazioni sull’annuncio di un Remake di Resident Evil 5, ma secondo l’insider Dusk Golem – che in questi anni si è dimostrato molto ben informato sull’argomento – il 2026 ospiterà la presentazione di un remake differente.
Secondo Dusk Golem, quest’anno Capcom svelerà al mondo il remake di Resident Evil Code Veronica. “No, quest’anno NON sarà annunciato Resident Evil 5 Remake”, riferisce l’insider sul suo profilo X.com. “Al suo posto, più avanti nel corso dell’anno sarà annunciato un Remake che inizia con ‘C’ e finisce con ‘ode Veronica, ve lo prometto”. Dusk Golem appare molto sicuro di sé e ritiene che le anticipazioni della doppiatrice di Sheva abbiano a che fare con qualcos’altro, presumibilmente con delle iniziative celebrative per il trentennale della saga.
A settembre 2025, Dusk Golem riferiva che il Remake di Resident Evil 5 non aveva ancora ricevuto il via libera da Capcom, mentre invece il Remake di Code Veronica si trovava in sviluppo già dal 2022. Se così fosse, allora il rifacimento del gioco con Claire Redfield – indubbiamente tra i più richiesti in assoluto dai fan della saga – potrebbe arrivare sul mercato nel 2027. Ricordiamo che l’anno scorso Dusk Golem ha anticipato anche il Remake di Resident Evil Zero, in uscita a partire dal 2028.
Intanto, cresce l’attesa per Resident Evil Requiem, nono capitolo ufficiale della serie programmato su PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 e PC per il 27 febbraio 2026

Code Veronica Remake has been in development since 2022, around 3 years of dev now. Code Veronica Remake is ahead of schedule due to a very smooth dev cycle though.
RE5 Remake has not been greenlit at this time.

The next remakes are Resident Evil: Code Veronica & Resident Evil Zero. They should be releasing in 2027/2028, though I’m unclear this second which is coming out first & which second. But that’s what I’d say to expect.
